Boxettes at Cargo

On the 11th of April I went along to the Boxettes showcase at Cargo in Shoreditch. Also featuring the legendary Jarvis Cocker and the great hip-hop duo Stig and Syntax. The night was absolutely brilliant. Haven’t been to a gig that packed in a long time and the atmosphere was amazing. The Boxettes are absolutely brilliant, a really really (did I mention really) AMAZING group. You just have to see them. They are a completely vocal group and make all their own rhythms and bass using their voices, which is crazy. Among them is the current female world beatbox champion Bellatrix and four other individual and insanely talented vocalists. I cannot explain in words just how good these guys are.
